The Lottery/Waitlist is updated the first Monday of every Month.  If you requested a waitlist track change or if you have submitted a new student to be added to the bottom of the list we are reviewing at the end of every month.

Below is the current wait list for each Grade/Track.

Choose the grade level below to view the lottery results by grade.

The lottery results as posted turn into our wait list. This wait list will continue to move as students withdraw, transfer tracks and decline placement.

Openings will be filled off current wait list until April 30th, after that date spots will be filled from next school years wait list.

This online list is a copy of our official internal wait list. If there are any errors please contact the enrollment department so an internal review can be made and this list can be updated.

Additional Lottery Information

Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten

If your child turns 5 prior to Sept. 2,  your child will be enrolling into Kindergarten.
If your child turns 5 on or between 9/2 and 12/1 your child will be enrolling into Transitional Kindergarten.

More information is posted on our Transitional Kindergarten page.

Annual Lottery

Our annual lottery will be held the first Friday in March. Due to the large number of names on our lists, our Lottery is done electronically using a random list generating website. All students entered into the lottery are assigned a Lottery ID number (number assignments will be completed by February 22nd).

The random public lottery determines an applicant’s placement on our wait list. Those who request to enter the lottery after the open enrollment deadline are added to the bottom of the lottery wait list in the order they are received. Offers for openings are made in lottery placement/wait list order until the spots are filled or the wait list is exhausted.

Lottery ID Numbers

Lottery ID numbers are sent out electronically to parents. Please keep your student’s Lottery ID number on file as it will be used to post the Lottery results. Your Lottery ID number will be used for you student every year until they are enrolled and no longer requesting a track transfer. If you have not received a lottery number for your student by February 22nd, please contact enrollment@sra.mn.

At any time when a parent forgets their student’s Lottery ID number they will be able to retrieve the number via our online request form: http://sra.mn/lottery-id.

Lottery Track Transfer Eligibility
Students must be enrolled in SRA by August 1st, 2017 to be eligible for the following year track transfer lottery.
Sibling Lottery Eligibility

A student must be enrolled by 8-1-17 and stay continuously enrolled until the start of the 2019/20 school year for their sibling to qualify for the sibling priority in the 2019/20 lottery.

My child is on the sibling wait list for 2018/19
If your child is already on the sibling wait list for the 2018/2019 school year you DO NOT need to complete any forms for the 2019/20 school year.  Your child will be rolled over into the lottery for the same track in which they are currently waiting for.  You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd to confirm that they are in the 2019/20 lottery.

My child is NOT on the sibling wait list for 2018/19
Currently enrolled students with siblings entering Grades 1 – 12 for the 2019/20 school year who are NOT on our 2018/19 wait list may complete our online sign up form by February 15th, 2018: http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up

Offers for Placement
Initial offers for the upcoming school year will be made via email.  When an offer is made, we will request that applicants notify the school within 48 hours to indicate whether or not they will accept; if offers are declined or applicants do not respond, the spot is then offered to the next applicant on the placement/wait list.
