Coach Julio Rodriguez graduated and wrestled in upstate New York, where he was a four-year letterman in soccer, wrestling, and baseball. He attended Fulton-Montgomery Junior College, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice then received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Waldorf University.
Coach Rodriguez started his coaching career in 2009 as an assistant girls’ soccer coach at Santa Rosa Academy. He later helped establish the High School Boys and Girls Wrestling program at Santa Rosa Academy in 2012. Coach Rodriguez has been part of the Santa Rosa Academy family as a parent, coach, and teacher for the past 14 years.
The biggest influence in Coach Rodriguez's life is his High School Wrestling Coach, Paul Seamans, an educator and coach for over 40 years.
