Bio:
My name is Joshua J. Castro and I am a lifelong learner who decided to become a teacher. I was born and raised in the South Bay and moved to the Inland Empire when I was in high school. I have always enjoyed school and decided that a career in education would be the right pathway for me. I aim to share my passion of history and my love of learning with my students. I completed my Student Teaching at Sierra Middle School in Riverside, where I taught 7th Grade History and ASB. Prior to being in the classroom, I spent time working at Castle Amusement Park and GameStop, where I was Supervisor. I also spent the last couple years working as the Tournament Coordinator for the Southern California Gaming Expo. In my current role, I am the Resident Substitute Teacher for Grades 6-12 and enjoy being at Santa Rosa Academy with an amazing group of students! Go Rangers!
