2020/2021 Lottery Information

If your student enrolled after August 1st, 2018 they will not be entered into the Lottery Track Transfer Priority.

Lottery – Students Enrolled August 1st, 2018 and earlier.

Open enrollment dates for the 2020/2021 school year for currently enrolled families: November 1st- February 15th, 2019.

If you have already requested your child be added to the 2019/2020 wait list please do not complete the 2020/2021 Lottery registration form.  All students on our waitlist will be rolled over to the 2020/2021 lottery.  You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd, 2019.

The Lottery is for Blue and White Tracks only. A student may only be entered into ONE Lottery per year.
(A TK Red Track lottery will be held if we receive more than 25 inquiries.)

All Lottery confirmation emails will be sent no later than February 22nd, 2019.

Current TK Students

Currently enrolled TK students and their siblings are not eligible for Track Transfer/Sibling priority in the 2020/21 lottery but may enter in the general lottery of choice unless your TK student is a sibling of an older SRA student.  If your TK student is a sibling of an older SRA student you may enter your TK student as a sibling in the upcoming lottery. 

 

Note:
As of 8-1-17 the current school year wait list will only be used until April 30th of the current school year.  After April 30th the next school years wait list will be used.
As of 1-1-18 siblings can only be added to the wait list via the lottery. Once the lottery is held new sibling cannot be added to the list.

Currently Enrolled Blue Track Students

I want to keep my student on Blue Track in 2020/21 – No Action Required
If your student is currently enrolled in Blue Track and you wish to keep them in Blue Track for the 2020/21 school year, you do not need to enter the lottery.  Your student will automatically be placed in Blue Track.

I wish to move my student from Blue Track to Red or White Track in 2020/21
If you wish to move your student from Blue Track to another track for the 2020/21 school year please complete our online form by February 15th, 2019: http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up

Currently Enrolled White Track Students

I want to keep my student on White Track in 2020/21 – No Action Required
If your student is currently enrolled in White Track and you wish to keep them in White Track for the 2020/21 school year you do not need to enter the lottery.  Your student will automatically be placed in White Track.

I wish to move my student from White Track to Red or Blue Track in 2019/20
If your White Track student is already on the wait list for the 2019/2020 school year you DO NOT need to complete any forms for the 2020/21 school year. Your child will be rolled over into the lottery for the same track in which they are currently waiting for.  You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd, 2019 to confirm that they are in the 2020/21 lottery.

My student is not currently on the Track Transfer Wait List and I want to transfer to Red or Blue Track
If your child is not currently on our wait list, please complete the online lottery form to have your student placed in the 2020/21 lottery:  http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up.

Students who were enrolled by 8-1-18 and stay continuously enrolled in the 2020/21 school year will qualify for the Track Transfer priority in the 2020/2021 lottery.

If your Red Track student is already on the wait list for the 2019/2020 school year you DO NOT need to complete any forms for the 2020/21 school year.  Your child will be rolled over into the lottery for the same track in which they are currently waiting for.  You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd, 2019 to confirm that they are in the 2020/21 lottery. Students currently on the White Track 8th grade wait list will be rolled over to the 9th grade Blue Track Lottery.

Incoming 2020/21 Kindergarten/TK Siblings

2020/21 Siblings Kindergarten/TK
Kindergarten birthdates for the 2019/20 school year are between 9-2-2014 and 9-1-2015.  Transitional Kindergarten birthdates are between 9-2-2015 and 12-1-2015.

Currently enrolled students with siblings entering Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten for the 2019/2020 school year may complete our online sign up form by February 15th, 2019: http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up

A student must be enrolled by 8-1-18 and stay continuously enrolled in the 2020/21 school year for their TK/K sibling to qualify for the sibling lottery in the 2020/21 lottery.

As of January 1st, 2018 siblings can only be added to the wait list through the lottery.  If a sibling is not entered into the lottery prior to a lottery deadline then the sibling will have to wait until the next lottery year to be added to the lottery/wait list as a Lottery Sibling priority.

 

Incoming 2020/21 Grades 1-12

My child is on the sibling wait list for 2018-19 and/or 2019-20
If your child is already on the sibling wait list for the 2018-19 and/or 2019-20 school year you DO NOT need to complete any forms for the 2019/20 school year.  Your child will be rolled over into the lottery for the same track in which they are currently waiting for.  You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd to confirm that they are in the 2019/20 lottery.
My child is NOT on the sibling wait list for 2018-19 and/or 2019-20

Currently enrolled students with siblings entering Grades 1 – 12 for the 2020/2021 school year who are NOT on our 2018-19 and/or 2019-20 wait list may complete our online sign up form by February 15th, 2019: http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up

Students currently on the White Track 8th grade wait list will be rolled over to the 9th grade Blue Track Lottery.

A student must be enrolled by 8-1-18 and stay continuously enrolled in the 2020/21 school year for their sibling to qualify for the sibling priority in the 2020/21 lottery.

Important note about Staff Students:

Staff children have priority placement.

Important note about Heritage Students:
These students/siblings have priority in the lottery.  A Heritage Student is identified as a student who continuously attended Santa Rosa Academy PRIOR TO the opening of the new campus or the 2013-14 school year. These students would have attended school at the Main Campus at  MSJC, Santa Rosa Academy West or the shopping center on Baxter Road in Wildomar during the 2012/2013 school year or earlier. Heritage and Siblings need to be verified by Administration and Registrar.
